Take Action
Stop Law Enforcement From Undermining State Laws
Recommended Action: (Contact Your State Legislators Today!)
Contact your state legislator today and say you support Michigan’s Medical Marijuana Act and oppose law enforcement’s stance of circumventing state laws. On November 4, 2008, Michigan voters passed a measure allowing the use of medicinal cannabis for patients with debilitating medical conditions (including cancer, multiple sclerosis, and HIV). Growing cannabis also was approved for registered individuals using secure facilities. The people have spoken, and with 63 percent of voters supporting medical marijuana, the Michigan legislature must receive a strong message that you will not stand by and allow law enforcement to undermine state laws.
